what is the difference between "thin" picks and "heavy" picks!.!.!.!.!.!.!.is it a difference in tone like i suspect!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

For me I use thick picks!. Its really just a personal preference!. Try both out and decide which one feels better to ya!. But of course learn an easy song like the Topgun theme and play it with both picks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
yes you can achieve a higher tone with a lighter pick, but if you plan on playing metal or dropped D style go with the heavy pick!. Word of Caution: Heavy pick may break your strings if you have not change to a deeper gauge or do tour playing style!. I perfer a medium pick, than I get the best of both worldsWww@Enter-QA@Com
It doesn't really affect the sound!. It's more of a preference of the feeling in your hand and how hard/fast you want to hit the strings!. A heavy pick you can play harder and a thin pic allows you to recover faster!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
