Okay, You can't compare nas to jay point blank!. do you Remember that jay looks up to nas!. That's why he sampled his voice on dead presidents without permission!. Plus nas has more intelectual hard lyrics as oposed to the flashy self proclaimed best that jay does!. Not to say jay is not good he's just more commercial!. As for nas he's just a lot more hood he's not changing for anyone plus you won't hear best rapper alive out of his mouth, he just knows he is!.

Absolutely!. This is one of the best intellectual comparisons I have ever heard made between Jay-Z and Nas!. They are two completely different type of rappers doing two completely different things but both are hugely successful!.

You really shouldn't compare any 2 rappers that aren't even close to the same!. Nas is very political and his songs have a message, while Jay Z's songs are very similar to those of Lil Wayne's, but the lyrics are amazing!. It's like comparing Biggie to Pac!. Pac is an amazing lyricist, while Biggie has great flow!.

I assume people compare them because in some ways they are closely related BUT they are two separate people separate minds separate lives!.
If you listen to the two very closely you will see that they rap about totally different things!.
Even though Nas and Jay Z will always be my favorite they are my favorite for different reasons not just lyrics!.
Jay z is more mainstream than Nas but i think that did him good to see into the world of mainstream as opposed to the real hip hop!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
