I used to really, really dislike Evanescence!. All I had heard were songs from Fallen, Anywhere But Home, and The Open Door (their 3 most recent albums)!. The music from those albums is terribly boring and it all sounds the same!. I also dislike her voice!.
However a friend convinced me to listen to their earlier stuff, and wow!. It's very different!. It has more of an electronic feel and the music is actually interesting!. Here's an example:

So I think their early stuff is very good, it was unique and great!. But then they got commercialized and, I don't know, maybe Amy Lee got a big head!. That's sad, because she's very talented!. I would love to see her front a symphonic metal band with that powerful voice of hers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
