It seems as if this person is being controlled into being something he/she is not!. Someone entered their life and controls them to the point where they can't break free!. They've been pretty much empty souls and are waiting for the day when they can be free!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Seems to me like the lyricist is talking about loss of innocence and some kind of overwhelmingly force in his/her life rather than a relationship with another person!.
