Answers:
What are the requirements for the audition!? Frequently auditions will require two contrasting movements or pieces!.!.!.one to show your musicality and one to show your technicality!. You could choose a Handel or Mozart sonata, and do two movements!. If you need to limit yourself to one piece, I would choose one that shows off as many of your talents as possible!. I agree with the other poster who said that DeBeriot would be a good choice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

What is very popular is de Beriot's Violin Concertos!. I've just bought recordings of them and you can find a lot of his works being played on Youtube!.com for recitals and competitions!. They are very musical and won't kill your fingers, heehee!.

Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are a lot of good concerto movements in the Suzuki books, anything after 5 would be good!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Lark Ascending by Vaughan-Williams perhaps!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
