i know this may seem like a stupid question, but upon listening to simon, and Garfunkel's "Bridge over troubled waters" a list came up, that had many other artists singing the same song!. I'm not extremely familiar with Simon and Garfunkel's songs, other than those from "the Graduate!." So, my question is: Does anyone know who the original artists of "Bridge over troubled waters" is!?

I bought it when it first came out!.

It was written by Paul Simon specifically for Art Garfunkel to sing solo (as opposed to a duo)!. It was also (unfortunately) one of the factors that lead to their breakup as a groupWww@Enter-QA@Com
