Answers:
It is perfectly fine to feel bored or unmotivated after playing for a few minutes!. different people learn differently and maybe for you it works better to practice for shorter amounts of time!. I had the same problem this year preparing for my Grade 8 RCM exam!. Sometimes I don't like to sit and play for more than a few minutes at a time even though i love piano!. Instead of practicing for one hour each day try practicing for 15 minutes four times a day!. It is hard to make any progress when you are not motivated!. The best thing to do is when you feel really motivated drop whatever you are doing (if at all possible) and start playing!. also try practicing in little bits of spare time that you have and would otherwise be doing nothing!. For example play a song during commercials on TV or when you are cooking and you are waiting for water to boil!. And finally, when you are half-way through learning a piece try to find others playing it on youtube!. It might give you new ideas that you would like to try!. hope i've helped!. !.!.^!.^!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I hope you do love music!.!.People who love it, just like myself, aren't free either from getting bored or tired after practicing!.!.only that it is much longer than just 15 minutes!. But anyway, our love for music keeps us trying and trying no matter what!.

You can take a break if you cannot stand it any more, but I would suggest you would wait longer than 15 minutes to do so!. Breaks are good, so please think about it!. That is, if you REALLY love music and seriously want to play well!. Good luck to you!.!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Remember you PLAY an instrument!.!.!. that way it never becomes boring!. If you are doing scales and exercises you don't enjoy, then play something you do enjoy!. Challenge yourself to learn a new tune by ear, or make up your own!. Don't play music you don't like, because it will be a chore for you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you play music you actually like than the instrument will permanently stay fun!. Try learning how to improv on scales and don't write songs but just jam up tunes, that's how I stuck with most of my instruments!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Try to think of different ways to approach your music; is it "sad", or "happy"!? What pictures come to mind!? I find this helps immensely!.!.!.and believe me, I've been there/done that with the bored thing! Www@Enter-QA@Com

play random keys until i make them in to a cool song that suits my taste so i never get bored listening to my own songWww@Enter-QA@Com
