My good friend is a distant family member of Bruce Springsteen, he grew up in the same town as Bruce and like his cousin's father's aunt's grandmother or something is Bruce's mother or whatever!. They did a story in the Washington Post on Mother's Day & in the article was all singers who had ties to the Washington DC area & the Grohl's story was in there & the picture of his mother on front page looked familiar & there was also an older picture when David was a teenager & then I knew it was my old teacher!.
