Question: Has anyone noticed there really isnt a 'rock' genre being played in mainstream stuff!?
i mean i know theres metal but i mean real rock stuff with a crunch level of distortion not like fuzz!. but what i mean is theres bubble gum pop and theres metal on mainstream!. theres really no medium anymore!. the rock genre has just basically be phased out!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There's metal!.!.!. then there's rock!. What's happened is sub-genres have taken over! i!.e!. Post-Hardcore, Hardcore, Garage Rock, Nu-Metal, Jam Rock, Alternative Rock!.

yes Rock has split into sub-categories which all is still considered Rock!.!.!.!. Rock is considered Rock because of its rebellish state and feel and theres all kinds of that goin round just in different sub genres now!.!.!.!. kinda sux but trueWww@Enter-QA@Com
