Kurt Cobain or Tupac Shakur!?
They both did outstanding things to their music, i just wanna now who made it more popular and great!.This is a tough question and i don't care if you use any internet references, i just wanna know the right answer because my brother thinks 2pac is!.
Because Nirvana's my favorite band I vote 4 Kurt Cobain!.

Both were troubled souls!.
I think personally the efforts of Kris Novolselic(!?) & Dave Grohl were at least as good as Kurdt Cobain!. Although I find the Live Tonight Sold Out video enjoyable to watch I think Kurdt showed how messed up he was!.
Then we get to Tupac who I guess if you compare diehard fans with the two was pretty equal!.
He too had his share of problems and bad judgement calls(but hey who doesn't)!.
Both are still mourned more than a decade past their deaths which puts them in an Elvis type of category!.
To be honest I really can't choose!. They both probably hold an equal influence on artists who have modelled themselves on their styles!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My answer is Cobain, though!. He and Nirvana reinvented a genre, put it on their back, and took it to the top of the rock world in the late 80s, early 90s!. Pac was an amazing and influential rapper who touched a lot of people with his music!. Was he more passionate about it than Cobain!? Maybe!. Do you like his music more!? For most on this board, yes!. I prefer Tupac but I would say Kurt Cobain because Kurt was Grunge music when you say it people instantly associate it with Nirvana and Kurt!. I think there would have been no grunge without him!. Tupac was great but even if he never rapped, rap would have continued to exist!. When Kurt died Grunge pretty much died, that alone shows his power over that whole genre of music!. Well to be honest Cobain did way more for Grunge than Pac did for Hip Hop!. Nirvana brought grunge to the mainstream and grunge basically died with Cobain!. Hip Hop was already on the map when Pac came up and when he died it remained popular!. When people say Grunge they automatically think of Cobain and Nirvana, but when you say hip hop I think of The Wu, EPMD, etc!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

2pac!. I know only rap but his music is really inspiring!. His lyrics are really meaning full and unique!. you dont have that kind of rapper anymore!. It will be a long time theres another rapper like 2pac!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
