Question: Are clarinets expensive!?
Okay well school is about to start and i want to play a new insturment!. I do not want to rent one!. I want my own!. So how much is a clarinet!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

It depends on where you get it and if it is made out of metal or not!. I would say most clarinets are mostly around $350 - $600!. I am a clarinet player 2!. I suggest you get one that is brand new that you can rent!. Each month you will pay a little which will after your done you will be able to keep the clarinet!. That is what i have been doing!. That way you can really decide if you like it or not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My first one was relatively old and wooden and I got it at a pawn shop for $175 but like i sed it wasn't the best quality then I got a plastic Yamaha for $2000 So it really all dpends on where you get it and the condition!. If you want it just to play like pretty concert music I suggest a wooden one because it has a much better sound quality, but if you are going into a marching band you need plastic because a wooden one shouldn't be exposed to weather!.

i rememeber I chose the clarinet and I think my parents pd way more than $700!. I think it was about $1200!.!.!.!.It was stolen 2 years later!. go figure!.

it all depends on what type of clarinet you get my friend got one for $850 and i think it was an alto clarinet but there are all sorts of types so you should pick what type you want and then buy one!.!.!.the best thing would be to rent right away and then buy one of your ownWww@Enter-QA@Com
Expensive is such a relative term!. Compared to other band instruments, clarinet is relatively cheaper!. You can get a nice student Yamaha for about $900-$1000!. They are great quality!. However, there are still some very nice beginner's ranging from $450-$700!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
