Dark side of the moon is a spectacular concept album!. Comfortably numb is so poignant yet beautifully subtle at times!. The wall is an incredible movie; the way symbols link through the aid of pink floyd's music is hair-raising!. The depth of meaning in their music is exemplified in "Shine on you crazy diamond!." The movement that their music has through volume, intensity, complexity masterfully draws the listener in and pulls them through different emotional states!. Their music is so beautifully written and played, and produces a different experience every time it is listened to by open ears and open minds that it could never possibly be over-rated in the minds of those who posses the capacity to enjoy it!. Pink Floyd is not over-rated, though some of their songs are over played!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The question is wrong!. As they are a band, you should have asked, "Who thinks Pink Floyd ARE over-rated!?" The answer to which is purely subjective, depending on persdnal taste and exposure to the artistes' back catalogue!. They have obviously been very popular through the years, but I personally think that the Sid Barrat years were bloody awful!. Only once Gilmour took the reins and brought his trademark melodic tones to the table, did they become bearable!. Dark side and the wall have many great sections, but some are over-elaborate!. All in all, a great band, but not the greatest!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Pink Floyd is not over rated!. Much of there Music not only comes from heart and soul, but experiences, and there songs and videos share a lot about history during there present time!. A lot of generations will become affected by pink Floyd's music which I believe makes them not over rated but underestimated!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I personally think they are not overrated until the Wall!. Before Dark Side, they were playing some sick progressive rock, and they were fantastic!.

Pink Floyd is the greatest band ever IMO!.
They released albums from the 60's to the 90's!. They have yet to release an album in the 2000's though :(

I'm quite tired of them!. I've been pretty tired of them since 1995 or so!. However, I wish classic rock radio would add some of the Meddle or Animals album tracks to their rotations--that wouldn't be so bad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
