Question: Guitarists: Is It Okay To Buy A Guitar Without Buying It But By Judging on The Specks!?
Because, I really want a BC Rich retro and I went to Denmark Street and I could not find it, but I found other good guitars!. http://www!.giggear!.co!.uk/home/index!.php!?!.!.!.
But my question is that is it okay to buy a guitar without buying it but judging it by it's specs!?
I have been playing for 3 coming to 4 years now pretty soon!. And all the guitars I have got were basically a beginners things like an Encore Classical Guitar and an Encore Electric Strat but my Fender Custom FMT HH Telecaster that i own well i tried a Highway 1 tele and I liked the feel so i bought the other Fender!.
So title says it all!.

If yr looking at spending a decent amount then you really need to have a play first, you wouldn't buy a car without a test drive and this is a way more important decision than that ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I build my own so i don't have that problem!.!.!.!.!.!.but the only guitar i would even consider buing is the older Japanese Charvels!.!.!.!.as i own a couple of them now and have owned about 10 of them and know what to expect from themWww@Enter-QA@Com

Anyways, I would NOT recommend buying a guitar unless you try it first!. You could end up buying it then HATE the soud of it and the feel!.

SIGH!.!.!. I have only one rule that is cast in concrete!.!.!. etched in stone!.!.!. written in permanent ink!.!.!. and that is I NEVER BUY ANY GUITAR I DON'T PLAY FIRST!.!.!. to do otherwise is a recipe for disaster!.
More than once I have looked at a guitar and read the specs and it looked good enough to eat!.!.!. then I found some place that had one!.!.!. went there!.!.!. and HATED IT after I had PLAYED IT!. When you pay the $ for a Guitar that I pay for one!.!.!. you don't mess around!.!.!. If I can't PLAY it first!.!. I DON'T BUY IT!.
AND!.!.!. once I try it and like it, then THAT is the ONE I WANT!.!.!. I don't want a new one out of the back room!.!.!. I want the guitar I JUST PLAYED, because there are small differences in guitars, even from the same Mfg!. and in the same model!.!.!. and I may not like the sound from the new one in the back room but love the sound of the one I just played!.!.!. so I don't go in a shop and play a guitar and then order one off the internet!.
I don't know of any serious, professional guitar picker who would order one off the internet, either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
