A) Would Biggie still be the King Of NY
B) How would HH be Different

C) In Hindsight, Should Shakur's move to LA, be considered one of the most important events of HH's history (based on the events that followed), Bc Tupacs presence in California brought the spotlight to other west coast artist, Whereas before their were much fewer acts (basically NWA) in the public eye and many were unknown!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
1!. I think Biggie would still be the king!.

2!. I don't know how different Hip Hop would be because Tupac has garnered more fans and respect in death than he had in life!. If he had stepped his lyrical game up to the bar that NY rappers set, then maybe I could see something but as it was when he died, I can't see any real changes!. If anything, he may not have been AS popular if he stayed in NY due to the way he rapped!.

3!. I don't think his move to the West Coast should be considered one of the most important events of Hip Hop history!. I don't agree that his presence shed spotlight!. Dr!. Dre had already done that with The Chronic and Snoop's debut!. Too $hort was pretty popular out there, and DJ Quik was doing his thing too!. If anything, the height of the West Coast's popularity in hip hop was happening before he was even signed to Death Row, by the time he got there, the hold they had was already established!.

Edit: Choc1 is right!. And adding to that, Tupac's career had more NEGATIVE impact on hip hop than it did a positive one!. West Coast rap had already been a well recognized force, when Pac was still a background dancer!. When Pac signed to Death Row, he was jumping on a moving train!. I think this is a great question, even though I don't agree with some of the points made here!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

A) No!.

B) The East Coast west Coast rivalry most likely would have never happened but I think Biggie and Pac still would have battled for the title of King Of NY leaving some east coast artists to be overlooked!.

C) Yes I think it should be considered as one of the, if not the most, important event in hip hop's history!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

A) BIG is a better lyricist, so yeah!.!.!.

B) They still both be alive and the East Coast would still reign supreme!.!.!.

C) That's a good observation!.!.!. but I guess I'm going to agree with SoulStar!.!.!. Pac came after the albums she mentioned and also he's popularity really blew up after he died!.!.!. I guess his move is what spark the East-West Coasts fiasco but the West Coast Scene was already established before his arrival!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

1!.Yes Biggie would still be king bcuz pac was stronger as a westcoast artist, if he would've stayed in NY he wouldnt be looked at that much because NY is known for lyricist and pac wasnt all that lyrical!.
2!. H-H would be different by Pac & Big still being alive!. If it wasnt for pac moving out west there would be no east vs!. west beef and so on!.
3!. Pacs move to the west was the best move for the west!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

- Yes

- 2Pac would have stayed a poet, and the West Coast sound would have been ignored until it disappeared

- California would have imploded from the increased gang violence due to the inactivity in the hip-hop industry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

A) idk, people would still be arguing like they do today though!.!.
B) his music wouldnt be the same though!.!.
The East and West coast have totally different vibes!.
He might not have made songs like Keep Ya Head Up, etc!.
cuz i couldnt see anyone from New York makin a song like that!.!.

C) YES!Www@Enter-QA@Com

A!. i think it would depend on which directon NY went, if they went more twards party/club music then then he would if they went another direction then he probly wouldnt!.

B!. HH might have been diffrent because if pac never moved, he might never have became a big rapper!.

C!. id agreeWww@Enter-QA@Com

A) Yes he could have!.!.!.why!? !.!.because 2pac's style would have been different if he would have stayed because of the NY influence!.!.!.!.

B)Yes!.!.!.!.2pac had a huge impact on Cali music!.!.!.

C) Yes it should!.!.!.any change in what happened then would obviously alter the present!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Co-sign T Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wish I could answer that honestly, but I don't get that deep into hip hop!. I did like some of their music though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Don't know about A&B, I can't predict the future!.

There were so many West Coast artists before Tupac moved to THE BAY AREA, he only moved to L!.A!. six months before his death!. And he didn't leave NYC for the West Coast he left Baltimore for the West Coast!.

He was born in New York and spent some of his early childhood there!.

Edit: Check the " All In The Same Gang Video" Tupac wasn't in it!.!.!.there were so many established West Coast artists then!.

Edit: Cosign with your # 3 Soul Star, the problem is that people from other regions feel this way!. Native Californians know that 2Pac was not the mastermind behind West Coast rap!. $hit, Hammer was hell of big before Pac entered the scene and Digital Underground (the group that introduced him) was too!.

Edit: I see your additional details and they are still wrong (no disrespect) check the old Source magazines, they were very NYC skewed, so of course it would seem like very few to you!. Hip-Hop wasn't a million dollar industry until the West Coast got into the game!.!.!.check the stats!. I know they're wack, but JJ Fad went platinum before Salt N' Pepa, back in '87!. And Tone Loc and Young Mc had popular hits (as far as singles)!.

Edit: Check the video out http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=wXGgWf2la!.!.!.

Edit: Chris J, you are wrong East/West coast beef was going on at an old Source Awards show, between Bad Boy and Death Row!.!.!.!.I remember that show and Pac wasn't even signed to the label yet (so the beef had nothing to do with him in the beginning!.!.!.he jumped on the bandwagon)!. You young people kill me, you probably are too young to remember that show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
