Question: How can i convince my parents to let me go to a metallica concert!?
im 15 years old, almost 16 and metallica comes to houston in november and i really need to go!. They're like my favorite band ever!. and that show would be awesome, my dad says i cant go because i would hear things i didnt need to but i dont understand that because ive been to see the cult and a bunch of other bands that say some terrible things, another factor is that he says there wont be an adult but i'll be with like 8 friends!. someone help me out please!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

IDK!.!.I figure its worth a hot!.!.!.and any concerns about the language or attitudes, should be minor at best!. JAmes has cut most of the profanity from his stage show now that he is sober, and the rest is stuff you are exposed to anytime you go to a Baseball game theses days!.
Lying, or trying something dumb will not only get you burned NOW, but for future shows too!. Just be very reasonable!.!.and maybe see if you can find ways to demonstrate your maturity also!.!.!.!. so they feel that they can definitely trust you to handle yourself well!.

Tell them that it's better to go to a Metallica concert that go to Ozzfest!. At least at the Metallica concert you wouldn't get that messed up from, all the pot in the air!. Or you could simply just like and say that your going to be somewhere else the night of the Metallica concert, and then just go to the concert!. Have a plan though to spend the night at one of your friends houses, just in case you get totally stoned from the pot in the air!. You don't want to have to explain that to your parent!. haha ok peaches whatever, when you wanna accept that its not 1985 anymore and metallica isnt good anymore you can come try an make fun of me some more!. until then maybe you should just keep paying out your *** to support a bunch of greedy ******* sellouts to go to their lame concerts, but make sure you drink while your there, and then later you can go back to your house and pass out in relative comfort knowing through a haze of alchohol induced assurity that you just witnessed the best show of your life!. then you can come on here and tell me how wrong i am!

I agree with Beyond the Shadows!. Take a parent with you, or another adult that your parents know and trust!. Or you can tell your parents that you hear a lot worse things on television, so why is a concert any different!? Www@Enter-QA@Com
Why not go with a parent!? There are always some freaks out in the crowd and it would be a little more on the safe side to bring a parent!.

Tell them you are going one place(i!.e!. sleep at a friends) then go the the show!. The key is to not to tell the date of the show, that way you have a better chance of getting away with it!.
