He claims to be the best lyracist out right now in Hip Hop, I don't agree!. Immortal Technique, Nas, Brother Ali, Slug, Planet Asia, Sage Francis, Mos Def, and Little Brother, to name a few that are 10000000% better than Kanye!. In my opinion, I consider his music POP!. Nothing more!. Am I the only one!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Personally, I wouldn't go so far as to call his music Pop!. We all know he has an inflated ego, but personal feelings about his attitude notwithstanding, he has made some good songs about some decent issues!. By no means am I agreeing that he is the best lyricist or even close!. Everyone can't be a "Nas" or "Mos Def" lyrically - but just because they aren't lyrical genuises, that doesn't make what they do pop!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Im glad for the first time ever, someone actually named SLUG as a great mc and not Atmosphere *cough* TLC!. Spawn is actually a whack *** mc and he is part of Atmosphere sooooo!. but no Kanye don't compare to any of these people

How can you compare kanye west who is a mainstream rapper, to underground rappers!? of course the underground ones will have better lyrics!. But kanye west is one of few good mainstream rappers today!. and he's not pop at all!.

We all know he isn't the best lyricist but he is one of the best mainstream artist when it comes to lyrics!. For example, i'd rather take him over Young Jeezy anyday!. And plus half those artist you named are underground not mainstream!.!.!Www@Enter-QA@Com
