They stress the point that it is NOT a replacement situation, which I beleive, (they are very emotional when it comes to Freddie) but he comes off better in some interviews than others!. There is one interview in which Roger Taylor (drummer) said "it's like 'Fat Bottomed girls' was MADE for Paul", and that upsets me!. They have changed the song 'Hammer to fall', and everything is just!.!.!. different!. He's not Freddie, and they know that, and they say that Paul has always hepled the band, and Freddie admired him, and they are sure he'd aprove, I just find it hard to take to him!. The band say that you can't replace the irreplaceable, and they're right!. I think it's good that Queen can still live on, and that you can still see live shows, and if you can't have Freddie back, it's better than nothing, it just is VERY hard to approve of!.

Paul has definetly been around the block a few times!. He's an established singer/songwriter, formeley of "Free" and "Bad Company" but I don't feel he fits in with Queen!. They should have just left it alone, c'mon! Everything has to end sometime and Queen or what was left of them just should have left it alone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'll have to hear the CD before I make any (too harsh) judgments!.
That said, I do feel that Freddie was the "soul" of Queen!. In my mind, it really isn't Queen without him; however, people could say that The Who isn't The Who without John and Keith, but I feel that Endless Wire is a great album, even without their presences!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They are all right!. It isn't the same without Freddie, but it is the closest to Queen I'll ever get!. I did like his version of Fat Bottomed Girls, though!.
