Question: Am i too old to pursue a music/art career!?
First of all, this is not a desire to pursue music and art for the sake of being shot up into the bright lights : ) The current state of the music business is horrendous!. Im 21 years old, almost 22 and I have never wanted to do anything else and never imagined myself doing anything else!. This isnt a new venture!. I played the clarinet for years and am getting better at guitar!. I have entire songs just missing instrumental parts!. Almost out of college, Im just so lost as to what to do because Ive never wanted anything in my life but music, since I was 5 years old!. I tried giving it up for a year to be "realisitc" and then i got clinically depressed!. Am i too old at 22 to go out and give it a shot!? I feel if i dont, i will regret my entire life from this point forward!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

look how many singers started their careers at 'older' ages,
just because you aren't some tween sensation, it doesnt mean you cant purse a musical career :]

Definitely not too old!. If you've already got music written, find yourself some other musicians to help out!. Form a band or something and perform live, and record a demo!. Seriously, if this is something you really want to do, then go for it!. A few of my mates (in a band) got signed last year and they're around 22 - 24 years old!. You need to record a demo, play gigs and start building a reputation!. Send your demo out wherever you can to get more gigs and hopefully a contract will come!. Don't give up too quickly though!. It will take time, but it'll be worth it if it's what you want to do!Www@Enter-QA@Com
