It is a matter of personal preference!. Clapton is more of an individual performer because he also sings!. Jimmy is kind of dependent (Robert Plant!) on the rest of the band!. Player vs Player I enjoy Jimmy Page, there is no arguing the technical and clean expertise of Clapton, but he can not match the power and emotion and total rock n roll riffery of Jimmy Page!.!.!. anyone that comes up with Whole Lotta Love, Dazed and Confused, Stairway to Heaven, and then switch gears and go Achilles Last Stand, Rain Song, Tangerine, Black Mountain Side, Ten Years Gone!.!.!. too, too, much!.!.!. to write!.!.!. Pagey wins, but Clapton ain't no slouch!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Personally, I prefer Jimmy Page, but it's not so much that I think he is better technically or anything, I just feel connected to Jimmy's playing more, which is what makes him better in my eyes!.!.!. he has the ability to control my emotions, and no matter how good Clapton is, he doesn't have the ability to do that to me!.!. I don't think I know enough about guitars to assess who has more skill, though!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Obviously both are amazing, but I would have to go with Clapton on this one!. People say they like Page better because of his emotion, but people fail to realize the emotion in Clapton's music, too!. It just different!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Jimmy Page!. I get into his music much more than Clapton's!. I love to see the emotion Page puts into his guitar, especially when he plays it with a violin bow!. Incredible guitar player!. My personal favorite!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
