I love both bands, so it was painfully hard to choose!.
I suppose in some ways Opeth is better than Nile and in other ways Nile is better than Opeth!.
Mikael Akerfeldt has probably the best growl around!.

I voted only in the final turn, and I voted for Nile (in your that list, I prefer Behemoth and early Death); but I'm not so much into death metal!.
Akerfeldt is better than Karl Sanders, of course, Mikael can sing growl and clean, he's a great voice; but I prefer the music of Nile, they are technical, but at the same time, they are violent!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Opeth is not a death metal band!. Even their early albums are more progressive than anything!. If that vote was about talent though, they would win hands down!.

Oh I knew they would win, we have far too many obsessed Opeth fans here in R&P including me, it almost makes it seem that Opeth are overrated which is scary cuz they are not!. I am just happy that Born Of Osiris made it as far as they did!. I love those guys because its not your traditional technical death metal like Spawn Of Possession, Cryptospy (old), Disgorge, Defeated Sanity, Nile, ect!. they are just unique for technical death!. also not the same old drum beats either, and they have some killer keyboard parts like in Open Arms to Damnation the keys are so sick in that song!. anyway I am happyWww@Enter-QA@Com
