Question: Listening to Evanescence makes me so confused, do you!?
well, i'm christian and i know the band isn't but i don't care about their religion but i was searching for songs when i saw the lyrics of an old song called "zero" and it were like that"god is empty like me" and i felt so bad because i love amy lee's voice and their music and i found out that they are still singing that song in their concerts !.
now i found some of their songs' lyrics are confusing !.!.!.
and i know tourniquet was religious but it's kind of old now!?

Actually, their band isn't "anti-god" but some of their lyrics are!. I know what you mean, when you feel bad about listening to something!. I was listening to some band and they were talking about Satan and stuff!. It had a good beat and everything, but you just can't listen to it!.
Some of their songs do have a deeper meaning, though, and sometimes its a little confusing!.
But I don't think you should worry about it!. Amy Lee has such a beautiful voice that you almost HAVE to listen to her!.

And if you don't want to listen to them, I suggest something like Disciple, who is a hard core rock band, but they sing for God, as does Skillet!.
They're really amazing!.
Flyleaf is also really good, Saving Abel, Story of the Year, Superchick, There For Tomorrow, YellowCard, Rise Against, and the Almost are some really great rock bands!.

Evanescence's cover of "Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins in no way means that they are anti-god or anything!. Amy has said that the song "touriquet" is about the "Christian" view of suicide [not that shes suicidal!. I am absolutely in LOVE with Evanescence, and am really glad you asked this question!. Amy herself is a Christian, as well as most of the other band members, and she is deeply spiritual!. In no way is she against God!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
i think Amy Lee herself is having a struggle to find what religion she believes in, if she believes in any!. And the band is trying to be more "popular" and religion is simply not popular right now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
