New Country fans, help me out!

If you're talking about giving thumbs down and stuff, it is really uncalled for!. Not everybody likes the same type of music!. If everybody did, it would be a pretty boring world, wouldn't you say!. For example, on a question I answered a little while ago!. It asked who you considered the best country singer!. I said Taylor Swift!. Of course I got thumbs down!. Some other people said Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and stuff like that!. They had thumbs down too!. You can't give someone a thmbs down for having an opinion!. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and nobody else has to agree!. I personally don't give thumbs down if someone think that the best country singer is Johnny Cash!. If I see a classic country question, I just ignore it, I am sure some people come in and trash them and thats wrong, just like its wrong for people to come in and say Taylor Swift sucks, Rascal Flatts is gay, and Sugarland is annoying!. Thats just there opinion!. And you are completely right about, if it wasn't for classic country we wouldn't have todays country!. Thats one of the reasons that I don't trash classic country questions!. I respect it and people who like it!. I will admit that I am not a big fan of it, but I don't mind it!. Some of it is actually pretty good!. So yes it is wrong, to trash classic country, but just remember, I have clicked on about three Taylor Swift questions today and all of them had atleast one trashing comment!. No one slams classic country!. I love ALL kinds of country music, old and new!. If I hear an old country song, or even a new one, a lot then I get bored of that song and don't like it that much!. I love older country singers and their music, but I also love the news ones too!. People may get bored of some of the classic songs and just want to hear new!.
I give respect to classic country and new country!. Classic defined the meaning of country!. New country has taken country to a whole new level!. I love old country and new!. I might get annoyed by a song but I am not slamming it!. But hey, everyone has their own opinions!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Most of the "new" country is an alternative and progressive country!.The new country fans do not realize that the classic y artist such as Red Foley,Hank Williams,Hank Thompson,Bob Wills ,Kitty wells, are the artist that layed the ground work for todays music!.
So many of the tunes today are repeated from other songs,or from pop music of the 60's and 70's!.The major change in country came about the time Garth brought the pop flavor to the music!.

All the new 'country' fans aren't really country fans!. They listen to Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts and think they are die hard country music fans!. Then, they decide to listen to country music radio and hear Patsy Cline or George Jones and have no idea what they're listening to because its so so so so so different from the pop-country they react funny and bash it!. Those who slam the classics are pop fans most likely!. Give me Alabma over Rascal Flatts and give me George Jones over Keith Urban anyday!. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but how can you say that you listen to country and then slam the classics!?

Classic country was real country and some of todays country is a little like pop music!. The rock & roll people like Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow doing what some call country music!. Is it really!?!? i don't slam them, i just like the new sound better than i like the old sound!. i like some of the older singers like johnny cash, but i think the older sounds of country music doesn't fit me like the new kind does!. i'd take taylor swift over george jones or anyone!. just my opinionWww@Enter-QA@Com

The problem with "new country" fans is that what they are listening to is more of a "cross over country" and not true country music!.

Old country and new country is different!. Personally I'll listen to Bocephus or Merle Haggard over Rascall Flats or Brad Paisley anyday!!
