Question: Whatever happened to Johnnie Lang!?
I fell in love with him and his music when I was a teen!. I know he put out a second album that flopped!.!. but what happened after!? Is he doing anything else!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

At least one of his songs was getting played on black Gospel stations!. I can't remember the name of it!. I had the pleasure of meeting Jonny Lang at a club gig in 1998 and he was a very nice young man!. No big head at all and stayed for hours signing autographs for fans!.
He hit at a time when white teenagers playing the blues were the rage, just behind Kenny Wayne Shepherd!. Neither are dead, career-wise, but they're going to spend the rest of their lives playing clubs and small festivals!.
Jonny tried to help his friend Shannon Curfman break through, but it was too late!. It was 1999 or 2000 and nobody wanted another white teen on guitar!. She was 16 or something at the time and very good singer/guitarist!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

He is still kicking around, touring and playing music!. He is just not "all the rage" anymore as blues is blues - three chords and pretty repetitive!. It will never stay in the limelight for long, but will always be around!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
