Is it legal to email music to others?!

Question: Is it legal to email music to others!?
Answers:
Not mainstream music at least!. If you truly bought the music, you and only you have rights to it!. Not distribution rights, but the right to listen to it whenever you want!. As for e-mailing it, if you own the rights to it (ie: it's your music) or it's a song that was created for the sole purpose of free distribution, then it's ok!. I'd be more fearful of e-mailing music vs downloading it, because it's a direct record that you sent it to that person, more or less just make sure it's not a school or work e-mail account!. Those are heavily monitored!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not if the music is copyrighted!. That would be a violation of electronic copyright laws!. Some as illegally downloading the music!. Fines of up to $10,000 per song could be imposed if you are caught!.

Now, how anyone would catch you is another issue!. E-mail is private, unlike public file sharing, so odds are the no one would ever know!.!.!.!.

But it is illegal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Legally, technically no, but everyone does!. Just don't sell it if it's not your intellectual property!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
