What are some good books to teach u how to play guitar?!

I've been playing guitar for five years and three of those years were learning from lessons!. I found the best way to learn is by tabs ,the cheater way for learning guitar!. With tabs, you don't read notes, you read numbers, which are the "notes" you play on the given fret on the the given string!. If you want to start learning to play songs, tabs is your best choice!. www!.ultimate-guitar!.com is a good site for tabs!.

Now if you want to be able to read notes, then travel to your local music store and ask the clerk for a god book to start with!. At some music stores, they offer lessons, ranging from 1/2 hour to 2 hours!. I've probably learned the most from my guitar lessons!.

ok i had to go through the same things heres ome books:get a melbay chordbook it should show you the way your fingers are supposed to look there not hard once you get hands to where they can reach the strings!.theres a book that teaches you old song that arent hard!.its also from melbay its a techniqe book to get going!.to learn songs real easy is tabs try these tab sites:ultimateguitar!.com,ttabs!.com!.if you just put a little time into it and you really want to play you will push yourself to play to get better!.its not hard to learn trust me do not give up if you really want to learn!.you will start off getting calises in your fingers and will hurt when you play until you get them built up!.then you need to learn some excercises do this on every string:1-2-3-4 do this on every string!.then you will need to learn what the frets are and what strings note names are for beginners you will need to know them up to the 5 fret!.but email me for expert guitar tabs and if you just need any help just email me!.i know you said some good books but i just want to give you the whole insight to playing guitar!.ull be alright once you get this down then email to get the rest of it!.in about 6 months is when you need to start learning the higher up stuff in guitar and ill give it to you when you email me alright!.ive been playing for over a year now and im telling you out of experience!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't suggest books, too confusing and they take too long to figure out!. I would recommend learning to play with tabs(tablature) at first and if you want to, move on to reading music later!. Personally, I find learning to read music to be a waste of time, but that's just me!. Since you haven't learned to play yet, I would suggest trying some songs you already know because it may just make it easier! I don't know what music you are in to, but many different genres have simple music to play!. The Beatles have many songs that are not very difficult to play!. Or, if you like grunge, (and have an electric guitar with an amp that you can get some gain) Nirvana would be a great place to start!. Although it would be worthwhile to learn some chords at first, for example, the A, B, C, D, E, F, and G major chords!. Once you have learned to play these and have the shapes of them down, you can play many different songs!. Lots of songs only consist of 3 chords!. I would recommend these websites!. Oh and by the way!. Guitar chords and tabs usually read the strings from bottom to top!. Example from bottom to top: e, B, G, D, A, E!. Below is a couple of websites that can get you started!. On the tab website, just type in the name of the song and you can find tabs of songs that you can learn to play!. Good luck!
