Answers:
You bet there is a difference!.

Flying V is made out of Korina (mahogany neck), set-neck and a 24!.75" scale length

Explorer made out of Korina, mahogany, alder and maple (korina, mahogany or maple neck)!. Different humbuckers and sometimes P90's!.

Les Paul Mahogany body w\maple top multiple choices for pickups!.!.!.

SG (solid guitar) is thinner and lighter than the LP!.

All differences in wood choices, weight, hardware and pickups will make each guitar sound different!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

big difference!. the SG body isn't as dense so the tone lacks the sustain of the heaver guitar, but cuts through better!. I never liked Flying V's cause ya can't play them sitting down!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
