Personally, i hate them
I think it's becausea xl roses sounds like a dying cat at times and at other times at how everyone seems to overrate them!.
I find bands like: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Def Leppard, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Aerosmith much better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They're my favorite band!. I've heard alot of people say that they don't like Axl's voice, personally I love it so I guess it's just a matter of opinion!.
Even if you don't like them though, can you really deny that Slash is a talented guitarist!? Or that they have inspired many many people to start making music!? I don't see how you could deny those things!.

Personally, I have mixed feelings about GnR!. I like them (the old GnR at least), but they're definitely not my favorite band!. They had some good songs, but outside of Appetite for Destruction, they don't have much!.
Appetite for Destruction was one of their only big albums, good for them it was REALLY big!. Good music, just not as good as say, Boston, Dream Theater, or Bon Jovi!.
However, I REALLY don't like it when people say Slash was the greatest guitarist ever!. I mean, he's good, yeah, but there are PLENTY better than him!. I probably wouldn't even put his in my top 15!.

Guns N' Roses happens to be one of my favorite bands!. i think they brought back real rock and impacted the history of music greatly!. like it or not, Axl was one of the greatest frontmen out there and had great talent!.

I like them alot and wear their shirt with pride!. I grew up in the eighties and they were a refreshing and more gritty sounding group than the glamourized Poison lads!. But there are two ways to view them, In their time and place they were great, now they have sunk!. They are living off of past glory, and should just quit teasing people about an album they may never feel good about!. Other bands have had the guts to put out marginal albums just to clear their head space!. Some of us actually like to explore a different side to our favorite bands, take Turbo from Judas Priest!. It wasn't a super strong fan favorite but it let them be creative and then move forward!. Painkiller is a fan favorite, but would they have ever gotten there without Turbo!? Guns N' Roses should have done the same!. Perfection is sometimes to much to ask everytime, and not every at bat gets a grand slam!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I find some of GnR's music pretty brilliant!. Axl was a good vocalist and matched perfectly the sound they have!. I often think of how good Velvet Revolver's songs would sound if Axl was singing!. However Axl is a pompous as*!. I have friend that did monitors and front of house sound for them for a little while and nobody could stand Axl!. Of course like any band, they had some really sh*tbombs too!. But every great band has thier fair share, even the Beatles!. "number 9!? number 9!?!? number 9!?" haa haa!.
