What are the best bass guitar strings for jazz!

Question: What are the best bass guitar strings for jazz
I am going to play bass guitar in 8th grade jazz band!. I am going to play an Ibanez GSR200!. Is it really very crucial what kind of strings I have!? I know that the stock strings are always terrible, but do I need really good like, D'addario chrome flatwounds!? I looked in to those, but they're $30 for four of them!. I could spend that much, but I would much rather spend less on strings!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
