I left DETROIT CITY, IN THE EARLY MORNING RAIN, I was headed, EASTBOUND AND DOWN to THE STREETS OF BALTIMORE!.
As I got to CINCINNATTI OHIO, I met up with LUCILLE, so we went to SAM'S PLACE to POP-A-TOP on a few, and get a SIX PACK TO GO
As I fired up my LITTLE RED RODEO, and we took off down that LONESOME HIGHWAY, the SHERIFF OF BOONE COUNTY pulled me over for DRINKING MY BABY GOODBYE
