Question: Do you consider kid rock
A country singer!? Someone asked a question about him in this section, and I replied wondering why it wasn't posted in the rock section!.!.you know kid ROCK!. not kid COUNTRY!.(and i got 3 thumbs down) I saw several answers who thought "all summer long" was the best COUNTRY song out there right now!.(and they got thumbs up!) Why do people fall for this crap!? He is a rock singer and has been for numerous years, now because he has one song on country radio (not even that original, samples from werewolves of london and sweet home alabama)!. people want to call him a country singer!. Why do people buy into whatever the media tells them!? Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nope, never have never will!. He along with some others belong in Pop/Rock section!. I guess they think they have done all they can in their genre of music that they have to switch over to country and try to win over the audience here!.(I'm talking about Kid) also, since Nashville is catering to the young crowd, I guess they (Nashville) think that in order to make money they have to make changes, and sometimes changes isn't such a good idea!. Apparently Nashville doesn't care about quality anymore they have fallen prey to the money demons that plague this country!. They will do anything to make that green dollar even if it means taking what once was a great genre of music and making it into somewhat of a mockery and allowing just anyone from any genre around to come in and profit from it!. Oh what a shame!!! George & ALan said it best!.!. There's been a murder on music row!.!.!. and people like Kid Rock have dealt the final blow!. (lol) Www@Enter-QA@Com
Kid Rock is whom he wants to be!.!.!.country and rock!. With his versatile talent!.!.!.he can rock your world or make you kick you feet up!. He is definitely both!. He is one of those singers that can fit into multiple genre's!. He is a rapper, popper, rocker, and as my grandmother calls it a crocker (country rocker)!.

I wouldn't consider Kid Rock a country singer, but I'm glad they play "All Summer Long" on country radio!. There are more and more rock and pop singers on country radio theses days!.!.!.Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Derius Rucker(sp!?)!. I wouldn't consider them country singers, but I like their songs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
No Lisa I dont!. I really like that song ALL SUMMER LONG, but I really think it is SOUTHERN ROCK not Country!!!! I have not heard it on any country stations up here, but I have seen the video on CMT and GAC !. Www@Enter-QA@Com

He has evolved though to more of what I call southern rock!.
Southern rock is a mix between country and rock!.
He's had a few more than only one song on the country radio though!.
And he's been on country award shows, and done collaborations with other country artists!. The oldies like Hank Jr, etc!.
I'm not a huge fan of his, but there are a handful of songs I will listen to if there played on the radio!.
Don't get so bent out of shape!. Don't worry about others opinions so much!. Everyone has a different one!. SOmetimes they could be a little more considerate though!.!. Sorry you were given a hard time!.
