There's this guitarist on YouTube who plays some great country guitar and his name is Paco Pascual (username: PACARTNEY)!. All he does is take his Fender Tele and plug it straight into a great-sounding tube amp!. The brand of amp he uses is Beteramp and I don't think you can get them in the USA at this time (sucks for those of use who want one)!.

Now, some country guitarists will use a compression sustainer pedal along with a digital delay pedal!. For example, the Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer and the Boss DD-3 Digital Delay pedal both sound great together for a nice Albert Lee kind of sound!.

Of course, Paco Pascual, the guitarist I mentioned earlier, told me that even just a compression sustainer will help me get a country sound without a tube amp!.

Hope this helped!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think he is using any effect other then reverb & "bright"!. These both come on most good quality amps!. The "bright" just increases treble for lead in country!. Gives it more "twang"!. Coupled with him using that Fender Strat (known for there "twang") & that would be a compable sound to what he is producing!.

P!.s!. great song !! Never go wrong with Lester & EarlWww@Enter-QA@Com

you can buy a guitar peddle and it will hook up in your amp and it will make a wow noise and the wammy bar will help make some of their noises to Www@Enter-QA@Com

A lap steel guitar thats typically played like a normal guitar but instead of using fingers you use a steel bar, similar to a slide guitar but not quite!.!.!. here is a good example!.!.!.

Subtlety is key!. Minimal re-verb and chorus, if anything at all!. Usually a natural sound is preferred!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

A type of guitar commonly seen in country music is a [lap] steel guitar, if that's what you mean!. Dunno about what effects are usually used!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
