What chords and scales or songs would u recommend for a Guitar player!

My advice to you is rather than just memorizing chords and scales is to either learn them in the context of new songs or get a lesson book and learn how to create licks from scales!. You can sit and learn modes and scales and chords but the best way to really get something out of that information is to study them in some kind of context!. By studying and learning a variety of songs you will build a musical vocabulary much better and it will make you a better player!. also, having a wide variety of cover songs makes you desirable for a band, better able to learn new songs easier over time and if you ever end up at a party or other situation with other players you have a better chance of being able to jam or do impromptu performances!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
