ive been singing for many years with training in many different styles opera/gospel ect!.!. and i have never never hurt!. if anything hurts, always STOP what youre doing!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Can you specify which area of your "stomach"!? It could be misuse of your diaphragm, or you're not using your diaphragm and extending your belly too much!.
Either that, or you're tensing your abs too much and you need to do more ab exercises to strengthen them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You're probably flexing your abs while you sing!. This is something you'll want to avoid, as it expels air from your lungs more quickly than you would otherwise!. That means you'll have less air for singing!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
