Question: Why when a rap artises like 2pac, biggie, and Pimp C, dies most people overrate them and their music!?
I like some of tupacs music along with biggie and i havent paid much attention to pimp c but, i god bless his soul!. But, when a rap artist die that most don't even know about that only some knows about, everyone start sayin that this rappper was the best even though they weren't noticed at all and most did not ever paid attention to their music until their death!. And, evertime you talk about rap to another person about who's the greatest artist they always keep saying that "Oh, Tupac is the greatest", but do most say that because of his talent or because of his death!? Especially, when they overrate Biggie Smalls and say's he's the greatest rapper athough their good but, to me not the GREATEST!.
Now, I do feel sorry for pimp c's death and i've known him since "Big Pimpin" and one song before that!. even though i have not followed his music ever since then, but just because he died doesn't mean that i have to put him on top and start callin him the greatest rapper of all time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no one will ever try to claim O!.D!.B!. was the greatest rapper!. Similarly to Pimp C!. 2Pac and Biggie were both considered great artists before their deaths!. Remember, Biggie was the "king of new york" while he was still alive!. And 2Pac was already considered a legend before his death!. Their deaths might have made them a little more popular but I don't think they are over-rated!.

i've never heard somebody say Pimp C was the greatest, and i doubt i ever will, but i think people a hard time making the difference between valuing the music an artist had, and overrating them!.!.!. they tend to overrate, if this makes sense!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think Tupac & Biggie were really good, I love most of their songs!. Pimp C on the other hand I knew about but really didn't follow his music career but I do think his one of the best from the south & not just rap artist's are noticed until death but so are RnB singers too!!!
