Yes!. King Diamond is known as a Satanist although in recent interviews he has questioned religion and says he doesn't follow a set religion anymore!.!.which leads me to believe he is distancing himself from the church of Satan!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Can't say for sure, but that is definitely the image he portrays!. But, he is a fantastic vocalist - I really enjoy Mercyful Fate!.
