I will venture to say that most 13 year old girls tend to listen to crappy music, so you could defy the mainstream and listen to classic rock and some good modern bands!. I'm talking The Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, etc!. Some good modern groups would be Seether, Flogging Molly, Evanescence, and The Shins!.
