How come at my school?!
Question: How come at my school!?
I am the ONLY person in the WHOLE school, besides the teachers, that listen to country music!. Everyone else listens to rap, and rock , im the single only kid that listens to country, and the bad thing about this, is i go to high-school in WEST VIRGINIA!!

No !.!.!. no one in my high school liked country, it was 30 years ago !.!.!. they were into DISCO! (I hate the BeeGees to this very day! "Staying Alive" my a$$! !.!.!. Until I got them in MY sights!)
Stay strong friend! I didn't "meet myself" until I joined the Navy, where I found others like me! Hot dang we were everywhere! People that knew what I knew, liked what I liked, and could understand where I was coming from!

Like several others, this is something I'm familiar with!.
I remember very well being asked what my favorite song was while I was a senior in high school!. Everyone else was saying "Boogie Fever," "Get Up and Boogie,' etc etc!. I said "Love Is Thin Ice by Barbara Mandrell!."
I think some of my classmates actually listened to country some after that!. But it never bothered me!. If I WAS the only country listener, it didn't matter!. And, to many, country was less "cool" than it is now!.
I grew up on a 7 acre farm!. When I was 11, we bought and moved to a 10 acre place that back then was way out in the country!. Today my wife and I live on a section of my parents' 17 acre horse farm!.
I also became a broadcaster, as you can guess from my username!. I currently own and operate a classic country Internet station!. It plays some new stuff, sure, but also some old country almost never heard on the radio now!.

well i am 15 and i listen to country and go to highschool so do a FEW of my friends but we also listen to rock and some of us rap i like ALL music so i guess i dont count lol but!.!.!.!.!. :) still we love country! its the best!.

When I was 14 I didn't listen to country!. But I had recently moved to a ranch, and discovered country so deeply I became a country broadcaster!.

In my school alot of people listen to country, maybe its just the people that go to your school dont know what good music is!. oh well!.
