Answers:
If you can't tell if your guitar is in tune or not, chances are it is out of tune!. You may be better suited to keyboards or percussion, but an excersise you can try is to have someone sit where you can't see them and play chords; when you can name each chord correctly after it is strummed, your ear will have developed!.

Any music store should carry an electronic guitar tuner, which has a scale and a floating needle to tell you if each string is high or low and when you are exactly on pitch!. The guitar tuners run about twenty to twenty five dollars and they are a gawdsend to beginning guitarists!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Go to you local guitar store and get a chromatic tuner!. You can get a cheap one for about $10!. Tune up before every practice and you will train your ears to know when you are sharp or flat!. Casio, Seiko, and many others make decent tuners on the cheap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You should buy a tuner!. They play the right note for you and then you can adjust your guitar!. They are not too expensive- maybe $10-$20, depending on the brand and reliability of the product!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
