Bill Evans early 1960's trio with Scott LeFarro and Paul Motain!.
Red Garland trio with Paul Chambers and Art Taylor!. Coltrane prerferd hiring this trio around 1957 or so!.
Bill Sharlap's trio with the Washington brothers is a current popular trio!. I'm not to into them, personally!.
Oscar Peterson trio with Ray Brown, and Ed Thigpen!. A very popular trio in jazz history!.
There was a great sax, bass, and drums album by Sonny Rollins trio called A Night at the Village Vanguard!. Sonny Rollins was the leader, two different trios on that album!.
