Question: Best Nightwish Songs!? Albums!? Singers!? Some advice please!
I've decided to start listening to some Nightwish music, any advice on the best songs, singer/s, album/s!?
To help, I've always been very into Evanescence and would also quite like to hear something quite gothic and operatic rather then pop like, so to recomend something along those lines would be great!

Awesome - Nightwish is my favorite band!. I'm sorry, I'm afraid I'm not an Evanescence fan!. :( But I can help you out!.
It all comes down to personal preference!. They have these albums out:
- Angels Fall First
- Oceanborn
- Wishmaster
- Over the Hills and Far Away EP
- Century Child
- Once
- Dark Passion Play
If you're looking for more operatic, then you'll want to listen to the albums with their old singer, Tarja Turunen!. Their new singer, Anette Olzon, has much more of a errr non-operatic voice!. Lol!.
My favorite is Once!. I just love the sound of it!. Century Child is great too!. I like all the rest of ones a lot as well!. I'll make a list of my favorite songs for you!.

For the operatic/gothic sound, definitely either Oceanborn or Wishmaster (CD names), although Wishmaster is my favorite!. Tarja Turunen is an operatic that sings like at the 5th operatic note (or whatever they call that)!.!.!.she's trained in the stuff and does alot of operas on the side!.
Once is pretty good, but it's more 'pop' than rock/gothic if you ask me!.
On Wishmaster, my favorites are Come Cover Me, She is My Sin, Wishmaster, and Bare Grace Misery!.
