Question: Question about the GOAT
A lot of people on here like to talk about who the Greatest of All Time is!. Other people like to make the point out that there is no GOAT!.
My question is this: do semantics ever play role in how you feel about such questions!?
For example, if someone says, "I think that the GOAT is!.!.!." I have absolutely no problem with that, since it is clear that they are offering their *opinion!.*
However, I often get annoyed (and the thumbs down demon may emerge) when people say things like, "There is no question that the GOAT is!.!.!." Because then they are trying to make it an absolute statement, with the underlying implication being that if you don't agree then your own thoughts on the matter are wrong!.
Does anyone else think the same way!?
(I know some of you want to say that there is no GOAT but the debate is never going to go away; again this is all a matter of opinion!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Absolutely!. I actually don't take the "there can never be a GOAT" argument too seriously!. (wtf is Y!A asking me if I left the caps lock on!? No, I didn't!. Now go away)!.
Anywho!.!.!.!. (yes, I KNOW that's a misspelling, shut up! Not you Omagus), I feel that arguments for the GOAT are a great way to debate rappers and skills and to educate yourself into the bargain!. So I don't necessairily take it too seriously in the sense of thinking "Oh, such and such must be the absolute best, no question"!. I just enjoy the debate that comes with picking a GOAT!.
But people should be a little bit more subjective about it!. Like you, I find it difficult to respect those who are adamant that their favourite rapper is the GOAT and will not enter into any kind of discussion about it!. It spoils the fun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

exactly!. thats why i couldnt choose of who was "the" goat because their are too many mc's who i love and appreciate and it would be unfair to just choose one!. its like having kids and only your only favoring one!. its just not fair!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
