Answers:
It is hard, you need to understand it, not be able to play it!. If I were to tell you to play in the key of C minor, it may be hard to comprehend that!. That's where a teacher comes in and you learn relationships between scales!. It takes a lot of work, but once you know it, it's like riding a bike!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Once you learn how to play the tabs (you can pick up a lesson booklet at guitat world or guitar center or some store like that)!. Once you learn how to play every chord you can practice playing real songs (look up (song name) guitar tabs) and it will come up!. If you want to be an experienced guitar player you have to play for many years!. My neighbor (who I am learning from) has been playing for 35 years and can hear a song on the radio and instantly know how to play it!. So if you stick with it it is VERY rewarding!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It depends on what your learning style is, some people learn better when by themselves and learning things by themselves while others find it easier to be taught by someone else!. Im busy teaching myself and the only hard part is to make sure i practice often!. If you want to teach yourself then just get some books on chords and scales and start playing around with some tabs, you can go to www!.ultimateguitar!.com to look for tabs from a ton of popular bands!. If you go for an instructor then theyre just gonna do the same thing, teach you the name of the strings and teach you chords and how to play tabs and depending on the teacher, sheet music aswell, and then teach you scales!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I went a two month long guitar class, and learned a lot from an instructor, they teach you how to tune your guitar, write your own songs, and of course teach you the basics of guitar playing!. I suggest getting an instructor, unless you are serious about learning and can do it by yourself, because playing an instrument can be very frustrating!. :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

It's possible, but having a teacher helps you learn faster, and can explain everything way better than a book!. Especially when it comes to learning to read music!. Tabs are easy to learn, but reading music is a skill!. Plus they can show you techniques and things that you wouldn't know if you were self taught!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it depends, my bro learned guitar for a while w/out a instructor and he did really well, but he is a very natrualy talented musician, like the tipe u can imagine onstage rockin out lol!. he did however take private lessons at one point and he learned alot of usfull tips and it was overall a very good thing!. so u can deff learn the basics by urself but taking private lessons from a pro really helps!. i wouls say go for it, if u dont wana spend as much cash learn the basics on ur own a when ur proficiant in them then get a theacher so u can learn the tricks thatt make all great guitar players great good luck! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

well i would say a tad difficult i mean
i tried and it wasnt the very best!. so i gave up!.
but i really want to take it up again and i really think teachers are easier but the bad thing is you have to pay!.
but to some it really is very easy because they learn by themselves with so many things in their lives that maybe its just easy for them because they are used to teaching themselves!.
i hope i helped!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yea it is
I had a tutor and i wasn't going anywhere coz he sucked
So i quit and have now been teaching myself for 3 years
You can take it at your own pace, take your time, learn songs you want to learn, practice at home!.!.!.
Just get a book or something
I got guitar for dummies - comes with a disc which helps a lot
And is very detailed

Hope this helped! (:Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know plenty of people that taught themselves or that got instructional dvds to teach them!. I personally took a class on the weekends for 20 bucks at the local community college, it helped out alot and it was cheap!. Instructors can be expensive, but if you have the money, go for it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You prolly should, but for about a year i taught myself through like online vids and dvds, but then i got a teacher and it was alot easier:)Granted, it was more work, instead of me doing it on my own time, it was like 3 times a week every week!.!.!.!. soo Do hat u would rather do :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you plan to use tab yes its more difficult if you want to learn more of the theory and stuff!.
there are some rele good sites wer you can get tab and stuff try: www!.ultimate-guitar!.com its where i get alot of my tab from :)
gd luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Eh, it really depends on the amount of commitment and determination you have for it!.
I recommend you find a good instructor though!.
It'll save you alot of wasted time!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its realy good to have a mix of a teacher and selftaught, the teacher gets the basics down 4 u and selftaught help define ure style so it helps to have both!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on you alone!. I would have wasted time with any teachers, I was way faster and more focused on my own; however, later on, jamming with equal or better musicians was the best school on Earth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't know but some of the best guitar players out there were self taught! I'm learning myself and the only problem I have is that I have no idea if my guitar is in tune or not! Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

well, i've been playing over a year, and ive come out okay!.!.!.haha!. depends if you have the will to acually work hard and instruct yourself basically!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
