Question: My boyfriend is writing a song about me!.!.!?
so my boyfriend is a professional musician and he's actually getting some recognition!. His band is played on mtv shows like next, and he is sponsored by red bull, and on an independent label!. He is writing a song about me and I kind of don't want him to, bc I don't really feel that connected with him anymore, and am considering ending the relationship in general!. Should I be happy about him writing a song about me!? He's awesome, it's just that he's a lot older (I'm 20 and he's 25) and if the music thing doesn't work he doesn't have a college degree!. I'm just feeling weary about having a love song written about me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My boyfriend was also in a somewhat recognized band and wrote a song about me!. Even worse he named it after me!. "Lesli!." With the odd spelling of my name, I had a lot of people who listened to the band recognize and connect me to the song!.
We broke up a little while after, and even though we got back together a few months later, i can say while we were apart and seeing other people it was very annoying!.
If you are sure that don't have strong feelings for him, I would pass!. Or, go with it and just make sure he doesn't use your name!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
