Why do you like or dislike classical music?!
Question: Why do you like or dislike classical music!?

You may not receive any "dislike" responses given that this is a classical music forum :) Then again, we get some very unusual visitors at times!
My preference for classical music is somehow inherent!. There has never been an outside influence!.!.!. none of my friends and no one in my family cares for it whatsoever, yet I've loved it since I was a kid (and now I'm 35)!.
When asked, I attempt to explain that classical music is the only genre of music that can reach depths within me that nothing else can!. It is just so viscerally GOOD!. It makes me smile even on a day when all else is going wrong!. And some pieces- maybe 28 or so- can take me to another place entirely!. Furthermore, classical pieces are so vastly diverse!.!.!. regardless of my mood I can always find something that is perfect for the occasion!.
I truly wish that more people would give classical music half a chance!. So often it is written off, characterized as boring, dull, and uninteresting, which is a shame!. On the contrary; it has brought more meaning, quality, intensity and fulfillment to my life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This will probably be the most common answer you receive, but it can be very peaceful and moving at the same time!. And don't get me wrong, I love rocking out to Tool, Rage Against the Machine and Nine Inch Nails style tunes!.!.!. but at night, while I'm doing homework or just trying to relax, any instrumental or classical music does the trick!. I especially love the scores from good films (Meet Joe Black, Last of the Mohicans, Great Expectations etc!.!.!.) Moonlight Sonata will always be my favorite!.
And also, an fyi, There are albums out of both Tool and Nine Inch Nails songs that are done in classical renditions!. There's also a 'Tool Lullaby' album where different Tool songs are played using a vibraphone, marimba and chimes instruments!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love classical music above everything, it touches the soul, it is so beautiful that sometimes if leaves you without breath!.!.
Of course it depends much on your previous knowledge or exposition to it!.
Many persons do not have a chance to become acquainted with classical music at home, or at school, etc!. so they never get to like it!.!.However, even in this forum, there are people that are attracted to it naturally, and that is indeed a great blessing!Www@Enter-QA@Com

What is there to like and dislike "Classical Music"!.
Classic itself means-ever standing, compared to taste of Pop music, momentary for the time!. One who pleasures out of music, one who knows and listens to music, has to like"Classical "!.

I'm afraid I see a lot of people asking what kind of music would they like!. I agree with you, too many can't understand this music we are passionate about, if there aren't any words or if they haven't experimented a little with it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i listen to metal , my bf too, but we really enjoy classical music too, it has so many emotions!.!.!.!.we love the sound of piano and violin , its relaxing but sometimes tense !.!.!.so many emotions just with a few and sometimes just with one instrument!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
