"Pop" just means the song is a well-polished production with easy to hear vocals and a catchy singalong hook!. There's a lot more to "pop" than just Jonas/Britney/Disney artists!.
My favorite pop is "power pop"!.!.folks who turn the guitars to 11 but still have a really catchy hook!.

One of my favorites is Vienna Teng, she's very relaxing and I just love the piano!. "Lullaby For A Stormy Night" is one of my favorites from her!.
The Corrs is another of my favorites!.
Everyone knows "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes" by Sixpence None the Richer, but they have other great ones too!. I especially like "A Million Parachutes"!.
A few others, in different subgenres, include Sia, Sarah Brightman, Dido, Sleepthief, Kate Havnevik, Regina Spektor, Sissel, Delta Goodrem, Morcheeba, Sarah McLachlan, and Catatonia!.

Nope!. I wish the two would be separated a little better!. Even on the radio they classify a lot of pop as rock which is just dumb!. I some people need to get brushed up on the fact that they are two completely different genre's!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
