Question: Bas guitar tabs with an X!?
I wanna learn a song so I looked up tab on bassmasta!.net and it has X's on it!. I think it's something for slapping but I'm not sure!. I doubt I will be able to play it since I'm fairly new, but I was just wondering!. (I was randomly picking songs, some are 4 string some are 5 string so yeah!.)

That means mute!.!.!.you don't play any note!. So on a bass you would just deaden the string and slap the note, unless you are playing w/a pick (which you shouldn't be for that song)Www@Enter-QA@Com
