Question: What other music like Bach, Toccata & Fugue in d minor has those deep raspy bass notes in them!.!?
I like powerful pipe organ music that has the deep raspy bass notes that shake the ground!.!.!.another one that I heard was in the beginning of sweeney todd, demon barber!. but I dont know who does it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you browse around on the website of the AGO - American Guild of Organists - I betcha you will find discussion of works you like!. also - hit Amazon!. They OFTEN will send you suggestions ' "people who bought THAT also bought THIS !. !. !." OR even just read the CD (online!?) and see what else is on the same one!.
If there is a big church in your town - or if you are visiting a big city - see if there are organ concerts!. My city does noontimes summer organ recital - 30 minutes long - and they are free!. People just wander it, sit and listen!.
If you are in Philadelphia, the big department store there - used to be Lord and Taylor, might have been sold again - has a HUGE pipe organ, and there are free concerts every day! LOTS of places do that - again, see if you can find links from the AGO!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My personal favorite with one of those "deepy, rapsy bass notes" is Poulenc's Organ Concerto!. Here's a link:http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=EOi_VPZmq3I It's in 7 short movements, about a 30 minute piece all together!. Listen to the whole thing!. It was written toward the early part of the twentieth century, so there are some moments you'd never associate with Baroque organ music--and that gives me chills!. If you like Poulenc and want to sample some more organ pieces on the contemporary side, look into Durufle, such as his Organ Suite!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
