Question: Is 18 too old to become a "famous" singer!?
Sooo, i really really really want to be a professional singer, I have demos that are going to be sent out, and i have a vocal myspace page!.!.!.
but, i am 17 years old, going to turn 18 in January, and i feel like i am too old to follow my dream of becoming a singer!.!.!.

I am really glad that you asked this question because this has been a fear of mine for years and years!.
I'm 23 and I just got signed last year!.!.!. I absolutely don't think you're anywhere near too old!.!.!.
There are many many people who don't hit it big until they're older!. It's just when it's in the cards for YOU!.

Not at all! If you really love it, and if you think you have talent, you're never too old!. You should definitely get some voice lessons, and keep trying with the demos!. Myspace is a great idea!. For most people, it takes a while, but if it's your dream, keep working at it!. You should eventually make it!. Just be patient and love what you're doing! But then again the music industry is never about talent now!.
Most singers started at 18, it's a good age to start and over too!. I'm not liking the under 18 singers or who started under 18!.

of course not!! loads of singers are older than you!! i believe mariah carey got her start when she was 18, and she is still going strong! that's ridiculous to think you're too old!. look at all of the famous people out there, some of who are twice your age!! now the problem is not how old you are, but if you're talented and if people like your music!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No!! Actually singers and performers are more seasoned vocally at this age!. As long as you have a great voice and fresh look you will eventually get "found"!.
