Help me identify this song please!!?!

This is the Intro to the song I think!. It is an alternative metal song that was constantly played on the radio in 2004-05!? I think that this little riff is also played after the verses!. For those of you who live around Chicago the start to the riff is played during a Q101 commercial!. I don't know if this riff is in the right key or if it's faster or slower but it definetely sounds exactly (at least to me) like the song!. Please this little riff from this song has been stuck in my head for years and I don't even know the lyrics!. It's Driving Me Crazy!!!!
