Question: Ice T v!.s!. Soulja Boy!?
Whats your take on the Ice T v!.s!. Soulja Boy beef!? If you didnt see it, you can easily find it on youtube!. Personally I think Soulja Boy sucks!. His has no lyrical skills whatsoever!. And to the people who say "Give him credit he writes his own songs"!. WOW, AMAZING! God I dont think any famous rappers have done that!. Come on! Pac wrote his own lyrics and nobody hates on Pac! There are not to many quality rappers left today!. Most have become Soulja Boy wannabes and have ruined hip hop!. I wish I could turn on the radio and hear Pac or Biggie or Nas come on, but it doesn't look like we ever will again!. Very sad!. Old school hip-hop, true rap, needs to band together and start unleashing new albums!. Crush Soulja Boy!. When he learns how to write real rap, then he can make records!. Who agrees!? P!.S!., I'm relatively new to the whole rap scene and was wondering who are some good modern rappers!. People who rap like, Pac, Nas, Biggie, Immortal Technique, NWA, Dre, etc!. Thanks guys!. Seems to me that Ice basically got tired of seeing the videos, the songs and kids dancing around talking about Superman this and that!. Which is understandable!.
On the other hand he was a gangster rapper who wrote a major song entitled 'Cop Killer' and fought for freedom of expression!. He's been around the block and has established himself, so he has nothing to prove!.
These are new times though, it's not like the early 90's when being a 'gangster' was in!. A lot of kids despite their environment try to avoid that lifestyle, so they have to focus on something fun!. These new guys like Soulja Boy are coming in and bringing that excitement and entertainment that kids are seeking!.
Ice shouldn't have went at him the way he did, because I'm sure he remembers how it was coming up in the game!. Of course when you back a teenager into a corner they're going to respond in a teenage manner, which is exactly what he did!.
Does that mean he's 100% certain about the things he said or that he's a bad guy!? Of course not, but he felt threatened!. These new guys are young and still unaware of everything in the business!. I think if the veterans stop judging the music and actually give some insight the kids coming out now would give more respect!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it was wrong of Ice-T to say that stuff about Soulja Boy!. Ice-T just wanted to make a scene so he could be back in the spotlight for a minute!. I think Soulja Boy was right, if Ice-T thinks he's so bad then he needs to mentor him or give him some pointers instead of talking about him!. Plus, I don't think Ice-T was that good himself!.
